Hello dear friends!
Centures pasted since we heard something about each other and our Molies!
What's going on? Are the works in process? I have no Moly of this group.
Let each other know how everything is going.

Hope everybody is doing fine.
Have a nice weekend and week.
Best regards,

Mail Arrived !!
Got Mail today from Argentina.
Thanks Valentino.
It was surprising since this exact morning he asked me if it got here.
Well it did. Got it when I came back from work.
Note: By the way Valentino was going to send it earlier but I was going on vacation for a almost a month. I asked him to put it on a hold in order to be sure that the mail arrived well. [My dear mail man sometimes messes up the mail] So I had to make sure I was back home when it got here. :D
Anyways...
When I am done with his notebook to whom I have to send it?

Hi, dear crew!

Here is my entry in Ped74 Moly! I interacted his drawing much))) Tried to continue the theme of urban landscape. Everything is in black as Pedro wished. I do not use black colour usually except for gel pens and ink (the last I use seldom).
Hope you like the drawing in flesh.
I plan to send the Moly to Valentino tomorrow-anyway I'll let you know about the exact date.

It' is Done.
I couldnt be happier.
I finally got done my Moly and will send it as soon as possible.
I just had like a vision.
Don't know how to explain it.
Very delighted with the final result of the drawing and painting.
Used acrylics, sharpie and pen to do it.

the up and down suite

Now I´ve finished. Perhaps a bit late to the deadline, I know. But I also think it was a good idea working in calm, now I like the results. I hope you´ll like it as well.
I would like that the drawing of others connects with mine, and because of that I´ve left those pages initiated this way.
My desire is working on things that can be up or down, to the right sense or of the reverse, like these cities that are rolling on their own floors...

Finally!
Hi group.
Greetings from the Caribbean. It is kind of hot in Puerto Rico this days. Anyways. I just did my intro page on the japanese notebook. I like it very much and it is pretty colorful one of my weakness [too much color, too much details or too much dark].
I am happy that Ped47 contacted me to be part of this. I was craving to be one one of this group so thanks for the invite. I know this will be an interesting project.
I can't hardly wait to start the exchange.

I ´ve begun

After seeing the Pedro´s Moly, I had the need of beginning the mine. Today was a bit hot day here in Málaga, so I needed to use also my Taurus ventilator from the 70´. It has the same age of mine!!
I´ve decided to use only black pen or markers in my moly, and draw in a horror-vacui style. Perhaps we´ll draw imaginaries cities and landscapes... How do you feel it?
I´m really confused about pages we can use at first time. Can I draw on the back of the sign page? Is it one of the 4 pages we can draw? Please give me your opinion...

I Signed my Moly 2day

Hi dear all!
Here is the sign page of my Moly. I am still waiting to start the first page...well...are we free to chose the theme or will there be a general one?
PS Sorry, Pedro-I just saw the mistake I made in your name after posting the picture, don't worry - I corrected it in the Moly... Sometimes I change letter position unconciously (=

Starting the process

Hi everyone!
I received yesterday the moly ped74 sent to me.
Thanks a lot, man.
I don't want your moleskines to be alone anymore, so I started creating something on the one I have now.
Let's start the process.
My dearest wishes to you all,
Pedro

my japanese books

Welcome to moly_x_26!
This group, founded by PED74 (España), is an extension of the Moleskine Exchange. This blog will follow the adventures of a group of artists from around the world, in a Japanese fold Moleskine sketchbook exchange.
Each artist will set off with a small Japanese (accordian) folded Moleskine. Creating a drawing, collage, or painting, then send on to the next artist. Each artist will draw on a couple of spreads (2.5 pages) then send it on to the next artist. When the artists book is filled, it will be returned to the owner with images created by artist around the world. Each artist has a month to make an entry. The outcome will be a pleasant and surprising adventure, as artists are encouraged to interact and merge their art with others.
The concept:
1. The artists start with the Japanese fold Moleskine - Name, address, email address written in book.
2. Each artist gets 1 month to make a sketchbook entry, and mail it to the next person. The order will be posted to the left.
3. Each artist will do around 2.5 pages each round. As we are 6 participants everybody will then get the Moleskine twice until it gets returned to its owner. But feel free to sometimes use a little more or less than 2.5 pages.
4. Artists are encouraged to interact with other images in the book. Please be respectful.
5. When the book is full, when one side of the unfolded book is filled, the book will be sent back to its original owner. That artist may continue by buying a new book and sending it to the next person.
6. If a person decides not to continue, she will simply keep her book when it comes back to her. She should email all of the participants to say she is not going to continue. We will decide, then, if we want to find a new person.
7. Please communicate regularly via email. Let each person know that you have received/sent the book. The goal is to have a dialogue. Any comments and questions are welcome.
